The Australian Women's History Forum is a volunteer organisation dedicated to telling the stories of women in Australian history, and promotes activities to celebrate Women's History Month each March, and sponsors a special category in the annual Australian History Challenge in Australian schools. Women's History Month is dedicated to remembering and celebrating the extraordinary variety of women who have contributed so much to Australia in earlier centuries, and recent years, and publicises the stories of women from every background, for every achievement. It is about remembering and celebrating women in your community, or your family, who contributed in some way.
